ConvergeOne Achieves Service Organization Control (SOC) 2 Type II Certification
ConvergeOne announced today the company's successful completion of the Service Organization Control (SOC) 2 Type II audit. Completion of the audit indicates that the policies, communications, procedures and monitoring of controls have been implemented by ConvergeOne and tested by an independent certified public accounting firm.
The achievement is attestation that ConvergeOne exceeds the security, compliance and safety-related requirements for controls and safeguards when hosting customer data.
Why is SOC 2 Type II Important to Our Customers?
Service providers must demonstrate that they have adequate controls of data protection technologies and processes. The SOC 2 Type II report puts strict audit requirements in place and sets a high bar with a more meaningful audit standard then SAS70 or SSAE 16 SOC 1. SOC 2 validates the security of infrastructures and services and is rapidly becoming an industry standard.
"The SOC 2 Type II attestation is a testament to ConvergeOne's integrity, accountability, and commitment to its customers," said Joe Fabrizio, Vice President, Managed Services, ConvergeOne. "With strong internal controls, and the ability to build secure and customer-centric business solutions, we are able to help our customers achieve their goals of being more productive, compliant and competitive in their marketplace. Our commitment to our customers' IT security is at the forefront of what we do. We are very pleased to be among the very few organizations that have taken this step," said Fabrizio.
