MASON, Ohio, March 6, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- ConnXus today announced an agreement with Northwest Mountain Minority Supplier Development Council to add supplier diversity software solutions as a new service to the regional council's 65 corporate members.
ConnXus will also power the Council's Enterprise Dashboard to manage diversity certifications for NMSDC-certified minority-owned businesses headquartered in Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming.
Northwest MSDC requires corporate members to have an established supplier diversity program, which includes reporting annual aggregate dollar purchases from minority business enterprises (MBEs) to the council and actively promoting business opportunities to MBEs.
With the ConnXus agreement, both public and private corporate members will streamline their annual supplier diversity and minority business development requirements with a one-stop technology solution made available to the corporations at a special rate. Participating members' diversity reports will roll up into Northwest Mountain MSDC's Enterprise Dashboard for the Board of Directors and staff to easily access.
"Our partnership with ConnXus enables us to expedite the vetting process and deliver quality support for the Council's members while exposing our MBE's to real opportunities," said Fernando Martinez, president and CEO of Northwest Mountain MSDC. "By leveraging ConnXus' technology, the council will better track our own performance and report on measurable outcomes."
ConnXus' supplier diversity technology solutions to be made available to the Council's members include:
- Annual SmartScrub® vendor validation and enrichment,
- Supplier Registration Portal and bid opportunity platforms,
- My Suppliers vendor management system, and
- Access to over 2 million diverse supplier certification profiles via the ConnXus Database
"This birds eye view will empower Northwest MSDC to better understand the rate at which their corporate members are reaching their supplier diversity goals," stated Daryl Hammett, ConnXus' chief operations officer and general manager. "Equipped with data intelligence, the council will improve their understanding of the supplier locations, industries and diversity categories that each corporation is engaging well or needs to focus more efforts."
At the 2018 Northwest Mountain MSDC Annual Awards Dinner and Silent Auction on March 8, the council will introduce ConnXus' suite of supplier diversity solutions as a new council service to their corporate members.
