Conde Nast Entertainment Names Joe Sabia Head Of Development For Digital Channels
NEW YORK, Oct. 2, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Conde Nast Entertainment today named Joe Sabia head of digital development for their digital video channels. The announcement was made by Michael Klein, executive vice president, programming and content strategy, digital channels at Conde Nast Entertainment (CNE). Mr. Sabia will report to Mr. Klein and will be responsible for developing digital video series development featured on CNE's widely distributed brand channels and THE SCENE (www.thescene.com). Mr. Sabia's appointment is effective immediately.
"As the creator and director of two of our most popular digital series, '73 Questions' on Vogue and 'Improv Imagination' on Vanity Fair, Joe already has a track record of producing compelling, sharable content for CNE," said Mr. Klein. For nearly a decade, Mr. Sabia has created and produced internationally-recognized digital content. He created the popular "73 Questions" series for Vogue and "Improv Imagination" series for Vanity Fair. Mr. Sabia is the co-founder of YouTube music collective CDZA, a Webby-nominated music channel. Joe had a career start at an experimental interactive arm of HBO where he created groundbreaking videos like "Seven Minute Sopranos," a viral video recap of all the seasons of "The Sopranos." In 2011, he secured a coveted TED talk on the technology of storytelling. Mr. Sabia has conceived, directed, produced and edited projects for clients like Google, YouTube, Interscope Records, BBC America, CFDA, Toms Shoes, ATT, AirBnB, UNICEF and Barack Obama's 2012 Campaign.
A graduate of Boston College, Mr. Sabia resides in New York City.
