Concierge Auctions Accepting Global Properties For February Sale Targeting High-net-worth Chinese Buyers
Bidding event to showcase an exclusive collection of premier properties to global buyers, including outreach to the world's second largest economy in partnership with The Wall Street Journal and Mansion Global
NEW YORK, Jan. 8, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Concierge Auctions has announced it is accepting premier properties for an exclusive bidding event in February featuring a collection of the world's finest properties. Following the firm's successful expansion into Europe and recent sales aimed at Chinese buyers in partnership with The Wall Street Journal and Mansion Global, Concierge Auctions will again partner with the two media powerhouses via a high-impact campaign designed to directly reach the world's second largest economy, comprising of the largest international buyer demographic of U.S. and overseas properties. Properties will also receive exposure via the firm's proven platform of global marketing, advertising, and sales efforts including outreach to its unrivaled client list of approximately 70,000 buyer prospects and agents worldwide. Bidding will be hosted on Concierge Auctions' mobile app and website, allowing buyers to participate in real-time from anywhere in the world.
"Following our recent sales in partnership with The Wall Street Journal and Mansion Global, our global platform is better than ever at delivering sellers of luxury property and their agents a sale in as little as 60 days," states Concierge Auctions Chairman Chad Roffers. "On average, in just four to six weeks, our team can generate 200-400 inquiries and 35-50 showings that result in 3-5 qualified buyers competing to own each property that we market on auction day."
The ideal properties for the sale are those located in these well-known destinations offering top-notch schools and easy access to China via direct flights; are solid investments for future generations; and are valued at a price that is in comparison to real estate in China. Additionally, the properties that offer financial security and a possibility for rental income; and feature characteristics that adhere to Feng Shui and numerology guidelines — with specific propensity for the numbers 6, 8 and 9 — are also a plus.
"Following not one, but two successful auction events, The Wall Street Journal and Mansion Global are excited to partner once again with Concierge Auctions and have curated a campaign designed to directly reach the world's second largest economy with the world's best properties," stated Luke Bahrenburg, Vice President, Real Estate at Dow Jones. "We forecast that the February collection will provide unparalleled opportunities for our Chinese audience of high-net-worth buyers."
The firm's inaugural and December sales collectively resulted in more than 80 bidders from 22 US States and 6 countries, including China, Russia, England, Ireland, Canada, and the Bahamas; 18 properties sold; and over $120 million in transactions. In last month's sale, seven properties went under contract, including $48.9 million and $45 million estates in Dallas, Texas and Vero Beach, Florida — in addition to properties in the Lucaya Grand Bahama, Bahamas; Saint Kitts and Nevis, West Indies; Horseshoe Bay, Texas; Sarasota, Florida; and Stowe, Vermont.
"We've continued to see growing interest from Chinese and other global buyers participating in our auctions," added Roffers. "For our upcoming sale, we have a pool of buyers who are eager to bid from all over the world."
In addition to curating the world's best properties and matching sellers with its database of buyers, Concierge Auctions facilitates a transparent, market-driven transaction by working in partnership with the sellers' listing agents throughout each auction process. To date, the firm has partnered with a number of industry-leading broker networks including Sotheby's International Realty; Luxury Portfolio International; Home Services of America, A Berkshire Hathaway Affiliate; Who's Who in Luxury Real Estate; Engel & Völkers; and Leverage Global Partners, and has never auctioned a property without an agent partner, protecting commissions on both sides of the transaction.
