Previously sold exclusively in glass bottles, the company recently expanded its packaging to include Rexam's 12 oz. Sleek® cans for its top selling flavors – Blood Orange Tangerine and Hibiscus Saison.
Created to pair well with food and encourage family and friends to enjoy time together, Common Cider's recipes start with fresh-pressed apples and include natural extracts of fruits and botanicals to create layers of flavor. Common Cider varieties are light and crisp, naturally low in sugar and gluten-free.

The company has already benefited from the growth trajectory that cider has been on in recent years. This retail category was up 94% in 2014, according to data from Information Resources, Inc. (IRI).
Common Cider decided it was a good time to add Rexam Sleek cans to its portfolio because they provide an on-the-go single serve packaging option that delivers many inherent benefits. Portable, durable and unbreakable, cans are allowed many places that glass is not. They are light weight and able to be recycled, converted to cans again and back on retail shelves within 60 days. This helps make cans the most sustainable option, recycled at double the rate of any other beverage package.
