The company has launched Collab Asia, Inc., spinning off from Collab, Inc. a leading, independent influencer network and rights management company based in Los Angeles, to create localized content for Asia and focus on helping creators produce, distribute, monetize, and build audiences for their original content across multiple digital platforms.
Collab Asia has set up offices in Seoul, Korea, Tokyo, Japan, and Jakarta, Indonesia and is already managing hundreds of YouTube channels in the region. Representing over 550 channels in Korea, Japan, other key Asian markets. The channels encompass a cross-section of interests including gaming, beauty, music, kids, lifestyle, animation, comedy and other formats of engaging, viral content. Collab Asia's network currently generates over 250 million monthly views on YouTube alone.
Collab and Collab Asia are constantly leveraging their relationships on both continents to provide a truly global network for digital content creators, audiences, and brands. Collab Asia has utilized the successful model pioneered by Collab at the intersection of digital content, distribution, and monetization, to gain major traction within a small timeframe. Collab US will remain an active part of the new venture, as Co-CEO James McFadden and COO Soung Kang, will both sit on the board of directors for Collab Asia.
