Clinical Trial Results Utilizing CIREM Skincare's HCR 3-In-1 Serum Reveal 255% Moisturization and Up to 100% Moisturization at 24 Hours
The Ultra Luxury Skincare Line that is (A)MERIC(A) in Reverse, Launches to Rival European Legends
LOS ANGELES, March 20, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- A Triple Threat for Dehydrated Skin – A clinical trial utilizing CIREM's HCR 3-in-1 Serum resulted in 255% moisturization, 100% of which lasted in the test subjects' skin after 24 hours. The study, completed by Dr. David Wrone, MD of Dermatology at Princeton Consumer Labs, was conducted over a 24-hour period on 32 women between the ages of 18 and 55, each of whom displayed visible signs of aging. The recently launched ultra-luxury skincare line, with the distinctive brand name that is (A)MERIC(A) in reverse, was created by a compounding pharmacy team, medical professionals who ensure that superlative ingredients are formulated to be best absorbed and utilized by the body. Hydration measurements of the study participants' skin were taken immediately upon application, then at hours 8 and 24 with Corneometer values showing 76.3, 58.3 and 42.8, respectively (255% immediate moisturization, 170% after 8 hours, and 100% after 24 hours).
The HCR 3-in-1 Serum used in this trial is CIREM's signature product, which prompted the launch of the pharmacy-backed line. CIREM chose to have the HCR Serum included in a study as a result of the high efficacy of the three main dynamic ingredients, used in a way never before thought possible.
Dr. David Wrone, MD explains: "Hyaluronic Acid is typically used in a formulation to plump, soften and improve elasticity and Retinol to revitalize and prevent the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. The third ingredient of the HCR 3-in-1 Serum, and a unique feature, is the very potent 0.5% of antioxidant-rich, oil-soluble Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate Vitamin C; an ingredient very different than the typical, and inexpensive, sodium ascorbate Vitamin C used in most beauty products on the market."
The study titled, "A Single-Blind, Single Centre Clinical Trial in Healthy Volunteers to Evaluate the Moisturization Efficacy of Test Articles Plus Two Controls Following Corneometer® Assessments," features a treated vs. not treated format. The measuring tools used by the researchers included the use of a Corneometer® to study the humectant properties of the serum. The instrument measures the dielectric constant, a physical property of water, which affects the capacitance of a capacitor. Changes in the dielectric constant due to skin moisture variations alter the capacitance of the precision capacitor in the instrument. As such, the study subjects were studied in an environmentally controlled room at a temperature of 71.6-degree Fahrenheit with 45 percent humidity.
