Clayton Holdings Names Scott McNulla Vice President Of Regulatory Compliance
SHELTON, Conn., Nov. 14, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Clayton Holdings LLC, a leading provider of loan due diligence, surveillance and consulting services to the mortgage industry, announced today that Scott McNulla has joined the company as Vice President of Regulatory Compliance.
In this newly-created position, Mr. McNulla will be responsible for overseeing Clayton's regulatory compliance department, providing oversight and input for due diligence and transaction engagements, and maintaining the company's regulatory compliance engine, eCLAS. He will report directly to Ron Castro, Managing Director of Securitization.
Mr. McNulla brings more than 20 years of mortgage industry experience to Clayton. Most recently, he was Director of Regulatory Compliance at Allonhill, where he developed an independent compliance review team to specialize in performing the compliance portion of loan-level due diligence reviews. He worked directly with clients and outside legal counsel to ensure the loan-level compliance review scope and resulting conditions were being properly communicated, identified and addressed. Responsibilities included direct interaction with third-party compliance vendors on the maintenance of their platforms and proposing new functionality for compliance evaluations designed specifically to support due diligence reviews. Prior to that, he worked on the mortgage technology side as senior director of compliance operations at Ellie Mae and as SVP of Professional Services and VP of Systems Integration at Mavent.
