CINEMOOD, The Mini Cinema Projector, Now Available in Best Buy
A Four Month Test Period in Best Buy Mountain View
SAN FRANCISCO, July 18, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- After its successful expansion throughout Europe and Russia, the developers of CINEMOOD have announced the beginning of both online and offline sales in Best Buy, a leading provider of technology products in the United States.
For a four-month test period, CINEMOOD will be available in the Best Buy Mountain View store. "The values of a new product in the Best Buy's range will attract not only kids. We created a safe and smart cinema for entire the whole family. The variety of CINEMOOD's content is endless: from streaming TV shows to pre-loaded, kid-friendly cartoons. So, families with children, and young couples without kids will be able to find advantages in this mini-cinema projector," said co-founder of the CINEMOOD, Paul Zhuravlev. After a successful test period this fall, the team plans to place its product in Best Buy stores across the country. "For us, Best Buy is a strategically important partner in the US electronic market and provides a huge opportunity for our growth," added Paul.
CINEMOOD creates mini cinema projectors in the form of a cube with rounded corners, which combines the high-quality image of a projector with child-friendly portability that fits in your palm. CINEMOOD Storyteller is a small box with 150+ hours of pre-loaded content: cartoons and audio, which are useful for entertaining groups of children during the journey; digital books to read at night and teach your children how to read; educational videos for pre-school levels; and shadow puppet show tutorials to assist the motor skills development of toddlers.
For adults, CINEMOOD's mini cinema projector possesses the capability to upload your own movies and TV series in the internal memory, watch movies via a flash drive, and stream video content through YouTube.
CINEMOOD offers a new format of leisure for the whole family: watching movies, cartoons, TV series and digital books on the ceiling or any other bright surface. CINEMOOD's projector size is 4 x 4 x 6 inches, so it is easy to take it anywhere and project the picture on the back of an airplane seat, car ceiling, hotel room wall, and train or in a tent while camping. The operating time of the device in active mode lasts up to 5 hours.
Further, CINEMOOD Storyteller contains a series of CINEMOOD Discovers, which are silicon covers shaped like a particular cartoon character with a hidden Near Field Communication ("NFC") marker, the same technology found in contactless payments. When the silicon cover is placed over the projector, it automatically downloads that character's content from CINEMOOD's cloud library to the projector via Wi-Fi.
