Chris Brogan, Jeffrey Hayzlett, Chris Pirillo and Other CMOs Judge User-Generated Advertising for $2B Potential Nonprofit Initiative
SEATTLE, Feb. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Leaders in marketing and social media will judge a user-generated public service announcement competition on Zooppa for the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) Council's "Pause to Support a Cause" initiative.
The campaign ran on Zooppa.com (http://zooppa.com/contests/pause-to-support-a-cause), a web platform for brands to crowdsource user-generated advertising. Hundreds of video, print design and banner ads were submitted by Zooppa's growing global community of 54,000 people through February 5th, 2010 in support of the newly launched CMO Council campaign (http://www.surveyforgood.org).
The milestone program donates money to registered charities when individuals participate in market research funded by global companies. The CMO Council started the program to direct up to two billion dollars annually to nonprofits worldwide.

Entrants' work will be showcased to the Council's 5,000 members and a network of non-profits seeking new ideas in communication. Additionally, major media partners in the print, online and broadcast will feature the best submissions.
