"Chooch and Charlie Companions in Chaos," Illustrated Children's Book Released Nationally
Zany mayhem ensues when two loveable and impish dogs become best friends.
KENDALL, N.Y., April 5, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Emerging author, Ann Marie Ahrns, finds herself on a quest to tell the story of 2 lost dogs attempting to find their way home, as told by the dogs. It offers non-stop adventures spiced with compelling lessons along the way.
Meeting Charlie is an invitation to a mischievous scamp of a dog. A dog who does things his way. A dog who gets himself lost….Really lost! Meeting Chooch is an invitation to a tiny, timid Yorkie yet equally capable of getting lost…Really lost! Their adventures together begin when they meet each other after managing to get, you know….Really lost. They forge a very special friendship and promise each other to find their way back home to their Moms and Dads. That promise comes with some crazy humorous adventures, some suspenseful adventures and some downright scary ones too! Their journey also teaches Chooch and Charlie (and passes along to the reader) what friendship really means, to accept each other's differences, to trust one another and to never give up.
How the heck did they survive? I mean really… How do lost dogs find food to eat? How do lost dogs travel miles across the country? How do lost dogs escape danger, like snapping turtles and dog wardens. (Just to name a few.) How do lost dogs stay happy and not give up? Hold onto your dog biscuits and see if these two pals are able to use their smarts and find their way back home!

ONLY FIVE STARS? I'D GIVE IT 11
My grandchildren don't know it yet, but they are all going to get this wonderful book for their birthdays. Reading this is like having a Hallmark movie on paper. Looking forward to the sequel!

About the Author:
Ann Marie Ahrns enjoys writing music and lyrics and decided to try her hand at writing a children's book for her Grandkids. Her Grandson, Harrison, said he didn't want the story to end and a sequel was written to be released this summer. Her dog Charlie, was a stray dog whose owner could not be found and he joined her family 8 years ago. Her other dog Chooch, belonged to her elderly Aunt who became ill and could no longer care for the pup, hence another family member! This book was written for grades 3-6 but like a trip to Disneyland, it's for the kids but adults enjoy it just as much.
