SHANGHAI, June 30, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The second edition of the China Railway+Transit Exhibition and Conference (CRTEC, www.crtecchina.com), organised by UBM Asia and the China Chamber of Commerce for the Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products (CCCME), today announces the cooperation and endorsement from the Confederação Nacional do Transporte (National Confederation of Transport, CNT) from Brazil. The CNT from Brazil's partnership with CRTEC includes the welcoming of key transportation professionals from Brazil to the CRTEC 2016 as to further discuss global transportation issues and opportunities. CRTEC will be held from 5-6 December 2016 at Hilton Shanghai, China. It is an integrated international business platform dedicated to the rail and transit industry and held annually in China in exhibition and/or conference format.
CNT was founded in 1954. Today, it is the authoritative representative organisation with the largest scale in the Brazilian transportation industry. CNT knows very well that it will bear an important duty in the Brazilian resuscitation process and thinks highly of the participation of Chinese enterprises in a new round of developments throughout this period in Brazil. Recently, the Chairman of CNT, Mr Clésio Andrade, submitted Brazil's economic recovery plan prepared by CNT during the meeting with the acting President, Mr Temer. In the plan, two measures were put forward: (1) strengthen the engagement of private enterprises in transportation and logistics infrastructure; (2) the renewal project of transportation equipment. CNT went on to say, "We think highly of the engagement of the Chinese enterprises in this process, as China is promoting the construction of 'the Belt and Road' globally when Brazil enters economic recovery." With the help of the rich experience of China's "the Belt and Road" construction, not only the level and efficiency of the transportation infrastructure area can be improved, but also the trade cost of the two countries will be reduced. In this respect, the two countries complement one another. In addition, China also possesses advanced technology that is recognised all over the world in the area of transportation. Therefore, CNT established the world's first foreign representative office in China as an important bridge and link between the two countries. At this critical moment, CNT plans to hold a seminar in the second half of this year in Brasilia with the theme of the participation of the Chinese enterprises in the construction of Brazilian transportation infrastructure. Key officials from the Brazilian government will attend the meeting. The specific activity arrangements will be issued very soon. UBM will provide full assistance to Chinese enterprises for their entrance into the Brazilian market.
CRTEC 2016 will include a mix of conferences, business matching meetings and tailored post-event familiarisation visits. This year, the theme of the Conference will centre on rail service operations, railway technology and areas related to infrastructure development and financial investment. There will be four main conference modules:
- Keynote
- Global Opportunities
- Operation and Management
- Infrastructure Development and Investment
With a vast marketing network throughout the world and excellent reputation in the rail and transit industry, UBM Asia is engaging active market promotion globally and has gained great support from the industry, including several foreign embassies and consulates, as well as international associations and business organisations, such as Confederação Nacional do Transporte (National Confederation of Transport, CNT) from Brazil.
In recent years, UBM has been committed to developing the emerging markets of China, Brazil and Russia, while also maintaining a good partnership with the famous associations of local railway industry and leading enterprises of Brazil. The NT Expo hosted by UBM Brazil is recognised as the most influential exhibition in the local industry. With the strong support of UBM Brazil, the last China Railways Transit Exhibition and Conference (CRTEC) (Shanghai) obtained great support from three magnates in the Brazilian railway and pathway equipment industry: ANPTRILHOS, ABIFER and ALAF. The CEO of ALAF, Mr Jean C. Pejo, was invited to specially take part in the business matching activity and head for China Railway Signal & Communication Corporation (CRSC) (Beijing) for field trips following the exhibition. Mr Pejo spoke highly of the thoughtful arrangements of the sponsor for a series of activities. He also said that he would have a deeper understanding in the technical details of Chinese exhibitors and provide more advice and information for its entry into the Brazilian market.
The organisers believe that CNT's strong support to the event will reinforce the dialogue between the Chinese and Brazilian enterprises in the railway, subway and transportation industries, which will lay a solid foundation for their future cooperation.
