Chicago Fare Deals to Worldwide Cities

CHICAGO, March 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Spring has sprung when it comes to travel from Chicago on American Airlines.  American is offering great low fares that make this the time to book spring travel from Chicago to destinations in the continental United States and Canada, plus select international destinations in Europe, Central and South America, Mexico and the Caribbean.

American, a founding member of the global oneworld® Alliance, has terrific values for travel between April 7 – May 27, 2010.  With American's vast network from its Chicago hub, there are plenty of choices when it comes to destinations, but you need to decide where you're headed and purchase travel by March 23, 2010, so contact American Airlines soon.

Here are the highlights of American's low fares:

• Available to destinations in the continental United States and Canada, as well as select destinations in Europe, Central and South America, Mexico and the Caribbean.
• Purchase tickets no later than March 23, 2010 – Travel April 7 through May 27, 2010.
• Lowest fares are available Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday for the continental U.S. and Canada.
• Lowest fares are available Monday through Thursday for international travel, except to Canada.
• Attractive fares are also available on other days of travel.
• Fares require a 14-day advance purchase and must be ticketed within one day of making a reservation.
• Minimum stay is 3 nights, except Europe, which requires a Saturday night stay.  Maximum stay is 30 days.

Changes to your ticket may be made if you meet the restrictions of the new fare and pay up to a US$150 fee for U.S., Canada, Mexico and Caribbean destinations ($200 for Central and South America; $250 for Europe) plus any fare difference.  Changes must be made before your ticketed flight's scheduled departure time.  If you cancel your flight prior to the scheduled departure time, the ticket will be valid for one year from the date of issue for an unused ticket or one year from travel origination for a partially used ticket.  If you do not cancel your flight prior to the scheduled departure time, the ticket has no value.

A portion of travel booked on American Airlines may be operated by American Eagle or an AmericanConnection airline.  American Eagle is operated by American Eagle Airlines, Inc., or Executive Airlines, Inc., which are wholly owned by AMR Corporation, the parent company of American Airlines.  AmericanConnection service is operated independently by Chautauqua Airlines, Inc.

To purchase tickets on AA.com you must use a credit card with a billing address in the United States, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, Canada, the United Kingdom, or select Latin American and Caribbean countries.
