VAN NUYS, Calif., Nov. 22, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- As the Holidays near us, we are reminded more than ever of the importance of giving back to those less fortunate. Just like in past years, this year Chef Merito is honored to join forces with the Union Rescue Mission in the preparation of a very special Thanksgiving meal for the more than 2,000 expected guests. The volunteers at the Union Rescue Mission will use a key ingredient: Chef Merito' Mojo Criollo Marinade to prepare for what promises to be a delicious celebration.

Union Rescue Mission CEO, Rev. Andy Bales said, "Since our friends experiencing homelessness spend all year long on the streets, we decided to invite everyone into our home for a delicious meal in celebration of Thanksgiving.
