Centerplate Names Kay Towner to Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing
Towner to Focus on Business Development for Centerplate & Clients
STAMFORD, Conn., June 18, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Centerplate, event hospitality partner in over 300 prominent entertainment, sports and convention venues across North America and the United Kingdom, has announced the promotion of Kay Towner to Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. In her new role, Towner will focus on driving incremental business gains on behalf of Centerplate as well as the company's clients.

A respected veteran on Centerplate's senior management team, Towner will continue to be instrumental in guiding the company's business development efforts, while using her deep industry experience to lead business building initiatives on behalf of Centerplate's partner organizations and clients. Across Centerplate, Towner will direct both local marketing plans and as well as specific programs designed for national roll-out.

Towner's impressive industry credentials include serving as the Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Event Services for the Pennsylvania Convention Center and over two decades of catering sales experience earned at premier convention resorts in the Sheraton and Marriott organizations. Additionally, Towner served as National Director of Sales and Customer Relations for the convention center division of Aramark.
