Centerplate Introduces Several Guest Experience Enhancements for Kroger SpeedFest at Lucas Oil Raceway at Indianapolis
INDIANAPOLIS, July 27, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Centerplate, the largest hospitality partner to North America's premier sports stadiums and entertainment venues, announced a series of new menu concepts and fan promotions for the 2011 Kroger SpeedFest at Lucas Oil Raceway at Indianapolis.
The Kroger SpeedFest will feature three nights of racing and music from July 28th through the 30th. On Thursday July 28th the USAC Midget, Silver Crown and ARCA series will take to the track during the Thursday Night Triple Header. On Friday the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and the weekend concludes with NASCAR's 30th annual Kroger 200.

Menu Highlights
Centerplate developed several new signature items for the track this season including:
Pulled Pork Sandwich – Smoked pulled pork with a zesty barbeque sauce topped with fried onion straws on a pretzel bun.
Chicken Quesadilla – Shredded chicken with spicy seasoning and shredded cheese grilled between two flour tortillas served with fresh tortilla chips, salsa, and nacho cheese.
Wings Around the World – Hand shaken and prepared to order with an extensive assortment of sauces, including Traditional Buffalo, Barbeque and Sweet Red Chili and served with a side of fresh kettle potato chips
Rib-Eye Sandwich – Grilled onions, horseradish sauce, grilled center-cut rib-eye on a freshly baked French roll with Home Made Chips
For this weekend's Kroger SpeedFest, the company will be offering several fun new menu items specifically tailored to complement the festive atmosphere of the event.
Fried Kool-Aid Doughnuts – A tasty new dessert, fresh pastry with assorted Kool-Aid flavors fried-to-order and dusted with powdered sugar
Kona Ice – Fresh-shaved ice topped with choice of tropical juice syrups
Soft Pretzels – Hand made, in-stand featuring an extensive toppings bar
Fried Candy Bars – A favorite treat imported from the state fair

This weekend, Centerplate will be offering value promotions like a bottomless soda special that provides for free refills.
Guest Services Enhancements
To complement its culinary additions, the company has also initiated a series of enhancements to its service training and experience assurance initiatives.
