Hospitality Leader Centerplate Plans to Serve Over 60,000 Fans
MIAMI, Aug. 3, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Centerplate, the largest hospitality partner to North America's premier sports stadiums, entertainment venues and convention centers, will be serving as hospitality host at tonight's World Football Challenge match between FC Barcelona and Chivas de Guadalajara at Sun Life Stadium, home of the Miami Dolphins and Florida Marlins.
The company expects to serve over 60,000 soccer fans and has created tailored menus to enhance fan enjoyment of the game. Centerplate will be offering authentic Spanish beers Estrella Damm, the official beer of FC Barcelona, and Mahou, and Mexican beers such as Negra Modelo and Corona. Additionally, fans can choose between Arepa with Chorizo Sticks, savory Latin Chorizo sausage sticks paired with two thick cornmeal cakes filled with Cojita cheese and grilled to a golden brown, European Crepes, fresh crepes filled with a choice of sliced steak and cheese or strawberry/ banana/ chocolate filling, or Churrasco Chicken Nacho Supreme, spicy chicken with jalapeño pepper slices from Chihuahua, Mexico.

In addition to tonight's game, Centerplate also hosted match-ups between Manchester United versus FC Barcelona at FedEx Field, home of the Washington Redskins and Real Madrid versus Chivas de Guadalajara at Qualcomm Stadium, home of the San Diego Chargers.
