Centerplate Gives Devils and Nets Fans New Reasons to Cheer at the Prudential Center
New Custom Culinary Concepts Developed Specially for New Jersey's Sports Fans
STAMFORD, Conn., Oct. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Centerplate, the largest hospitality partner to North America's premier sports stadiums, convention centers and entertainment venues, will be welcoming fans back to Newark this season with updated fan favorites, gluten-free options, and a new club-style restaurant at the Prudential Center -- home of the New Jersey Devils and New Jersey Nets.
A hallmark of this season at the Prudential Center is a heightened emphasis on freshly prepared and made-to-order choices. Customizable creations include fresh-made premium deli sandwiches, and two new hot dog condiment bars with options including tomatoes, onions, chili, sauerkraut, and cheese. Even nachos can be customized with chicken or beef with a variety of toppings choices at every Mucho Nacho stand.
As part of the company's commitment to the total guest experience, Centerplate has also introduced new menu items specifically for fans with gluten intolerance. "We want to ensure a great experience for every fan at the Prudential Center," said Peter Matra, Centerplate's Regional Vice President. "For families or individuals with special dietary needs, we seek to introduce options that will allow them to enjoy our food when they visit to cheer on their teams."
Centerplate now offers an entirely gluten-free menu, which includes gluten-free sausages and hot dogs, served on a gluten-free bun baked by Philadelphia's The Grainless Baker; gluten-free Red Bridge Beer; and both Garden and Caesar Salads, in addition to packaged gluten-free snacks. The gluten-free location is situated on the main concourse between Sections 5 and 6.
The company has also redesigned the Goal Bar to feature a club-style restaurant menu of made-to-order dishes such as the signature Jumbo Lump Crab Cake Sandwich with Fresh Corn and Tomato Saute and Chipotle Aioli.
