New Menu Concepts, Promotions, and Guest Services for the 2011 Season

In addition to new snacks, local bites and unique items, fans will have several new and signature menu items to enjoy this season including:

Souvenir KU Kandybars - Specially made for the University of Kansas, premium milk chocolate bars made by Russell Stover
Smoked Burnt End Skewers - Slow-smoked and basted with our bourbon barbeque glaze, served with chips and bread
Jr. Jayhawks Kids Meal - Includes a Jr. all-beef dog, Jr. popcorn, KU Souvenir Kandybar and a Juice box
Fan Appreciation and Special Promotions
Centerplate has introduced a series of fan-appreciation promotions for Jayhawk fans, including a "Bottomless Soda" in a souvenir 32-oz. refillable soda cup; the "Jayhawk Greats" Souvenir Popcorn bucket with free refills and the "Rock Chalk Value Menu" with specially-priced items.
Guest Services Enhancements
In addition, to complement its culinary offerings, Centerplate has also initiated a series of enhancements to its service training and experience assurance initiatives. Centerplate's training program, Centerplate University, is based on a series of training sessions that provides our service team the foundation to succeed. In addition to functional training, the program includes a significant focus on food safety, and the principles and behaviors of gracious guest service for a better fan experience.
