Hospitality Provider Launches New Menu Concepts, Fan Promotions, and Guest Services for Ballpark at Harbor Yard
BRIDGEPORT, Conn., April 29, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Centerplate, the largest hospitality partner to North America's premier sports stadiums, convention centers and entertainment venues, announced today a series of new menu concepts, facility improvements and service enhancements for the Bridgeport Bluefish 2011 Season at the Ballpark at Harbor Yard.

Menu Highlights
Fans will have several new menu items to enjoy this season. Centerplate's chefs spent the off-season creating menu items worthy of Bluefish fans. New additions include:
Chipstix: a full ribbon cut potato, fried and served on a skewer with choices of seasonings including Mexican chili, cheese and onion or sour cream and chives sprinkle, the "ultimate fried potato with a twist"
Wings Around the World: hand shaken and prepared to order with an extensive assortment of sauces, including Traditional Buffalo, Golden Barbecue, and Sweet Teriyaki
Bluefish Bomb: the ballparks new signature cocktail, served at the Tiki Bar with Bacardi, Pineapple juice, Blue Curacao, sweet & sour and a cherry in a souvenir color changing cup
Chicken parmesan sandwich: breaded chicken with sauce and mozzarella cheese served on a Portuguese roll
Chicken quesadillas: chicken, feather jack cheese pressed in a tortilla
Hot and spicy sausage: served on a 6" grinder
Fan Appreciation and Special Promotions
Centerplate will be offering fan appreciation promotions throughout the season such as the new 'Popcorn Helmet' featuring freshly popped popcorn and theme nights.
Guest Services Enhancements
To complement its culinary and design additions, the company has also initiated a series of enhancements to its service training and experience assurance initiatives. Centerplate's training program, which has been completely revamped and re-launched for this season as Centerplate University, is based on a series of training sessions that reinforces the principles and behaviors of gracious guest service for a better fan experience.
