Cellfire Adds Mobestream to Growing List of QMobile Coupons Partnerships
SAN JOSE, Calif., Oct. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Cellfire Inc. today announced the expansion of its QMobile Coupons program with Mobestream Media Inc. QMobile Coupons, the first electronic coupon syndication platform for mobile applications, is now available on Mobestream's Key Ring Rewards Cards 2.0 application and allows users to instantly browse and upload grocery coupons to their savings cards and redeem savings at more than 30 grocery banners across nearly 5,000 stores nationwide.
"Cellfire was the perfect partner for Mobestream to work with due to the synergy between loyalty cards and coupons," said Chris Fagan, CEO of Mobestream Media. "Key Ring eliminates the need for consumers to carry around multiple loyalty cards and with QMobile, eliminates the need to carry paper coupons, creating a huge convenience factor for consumers."
Cellfire QMobile Coupons solution uses HTML5, Webkit and CSS technologies to enable mobile application partners such as Mobestream to monetize their mobile properties through the distribution of mobile coupons. It is the only mobile application couponing solution that securely links a manufacturer's coupon to a consumer's grocery savings card for a convenient, safe, and paperless redemption experience within the grocery store. QMobile Coupons can be accessed from a partner's mobile application via a search query, a banner ad insertion, the scan of UPC or 2D bar code, or a number of other consumer call-to-action techniques. Consumers never have to leave the application to access Cellfire's QMobile Coupons solution to discover and upload coupons to their grocery savings card.
"Cellfire is excited to be a part of compelling mobile applications such as Key Ring that offer consumers ways to get organized and save time and money," said Paul Stanley, Vice President of Product Management for Cellfire. "With QMobile Coupons, we hope to offer consumers more channels for receiving grocery coupons when and where they want them."
Key Ring Reward Cards mobile application with Cellfire's QMobile Coupon integration is available now for download from the Apple App Store and the Google Android Market. In addition, non-Smartphone users can go to www.keyringapp.com and register for a free account that will allow the same digital coupon clipping capability.
