CCG Investor Relations Announces Capital Markets & Accounting Bootcamp Prior to China Best Ideas Investment Conference, September 9th at Beijing Four Seasons
Half-day event to provide CEOs, Directors, CFOs and other senior management of U.S.-listed or pre-IPO companies with expert advice how to survive and thrive "after the storm"
NEW YORK, June 20, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- CCG Investor Relations ("CCG"), a leading US-headquartered global investor relations and strategic communications consultancy, today announced that it will be holding a Capital Markets & Accounting Bootcamp in conjunction with the 2013 China Best Ideas Investment Conference on September 9th at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beijing. The event will be co-hosted by Marcum Bernstein & Pinchuk, a top-ranking U.S accounting and consulting firm with a substantial China and international practice.
The bootcamp is open to Chairmen, CEOs, CFOs, Treasurers, Controllers, Chief Strategy Officers and equivalents at U.S.-listed Chinese public companies and private companies considering an IPO overseas and there is no charge for these senior managers to attend.
All participating management will be invited to attend the China Best Ideas Investment Conference as the guests of CCG & Marcum Bernstein Pinchuk and selective investor one-on-one meetings will be available upon request. This session will be closed to the media, off the record and absolutely confidential. Meetings with all presenting experts are available upon request. All sessions will be available in English and Mandarin via simultaneous translation.
"U.S.-listed Chinese companies have had to travel a lonely road since the widespread accounting and corporate governance issues surfaced in 2010," said Crocker Coulson, President of CCG Investor Relations. "Unfortunately Chinese companies that have tried to do the right thing by their shareholders have been penalized with decimated valuations and been shut out of the capital markets for three years. Not surprisingly, this has led many quality companies to consider going private as a first step towards unlocking value and restoring their access to the capital markets.
"However, with the domestic A-share exchanges now frozen for three quarters and the Hong Kong IPO market extremely challenging for small and mid-cap issuers, it is not clear that this is a long-term viable option. Our objective is to provide the senior officers and board members of these companies with a full menu of options to consider and access to some of the most experienced investment banks, accounting firms and law firms in the U.S.-China space," Coulson concluded.
