Carlos Esnard Joins Bureau Veritas as Chief Financial Officer for the North American Division
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Oct. 16, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Bureau Veritas is pleased to announce that Carlos Esnard has joined the company as chief financial officer for the North American Division. Mr. Esnard will be responsible for: developing and implementing a management strategy to ensure all controls and standards regarding the company's financial plans and accounting practices are met; managing current business relationships to assure continued fiscal success; overseeing cash flow and forecasting responsibilities; and developing business plans and operating budgets that accelerate the company's merger and acquisition activities.

Mr. Esnard joins Bureau Veritas with over 16 years of experience. He previously held senior management positions within several operating units of Ryder Systems, Inc., including his most recent position, group director of finance. Mr. Esnard also garnered extensive international controller experience with Ryder Systems, Inc. and former employer United Technologies in South America, Mexico, the Caribbean, and the Far East.

Mr. Esnard earned his Bachelor's degree in accounting from Florida International University and an MBA in international business from the University of Miami. He also holds a Certified Public Accountant certificate.
