The Company's Broker Program currently includes three partners – Business Benefits Group (Washington D.C.); Innovative Cost Management Services (San Jose, CA); and Longfellow Benefits (Boston, MA) – who collectively reach more than 2,350 group clients across the country.
In making the announcement, Chris Duchesne, Vice President of Workplace Solutions for Care.com, said, "More and more employers have come to fully appreciate the toll that care giving demands have on their employees, and in turn, how that financially impacts their companies through absenteeism, workday interruptions, and loss of focus. By partnering with Business Benefits Group, ICMS and Longfellow Benefits, Workplace Solutions will significantly expand its reach and ability to help smaller companies address the full spectrum of care giving needs that their employees face without incurring the costs associated with building such programs themselves."
As experts in the field of employee benefits, each of the Broker Program partners knows first-hand the challenges employers face in creating cost-efficient benefit programs that meet the needs of their employees.
"Business Benefits Group strives to help our clients with solutions that drive business impact and Care.com is one such solution," said Michelle Milam, SPHR and Director of the Human Resources Division for the company. "Care.com's 24/7 online access to care providers nationwide will allow our clients and their employees the choice and flexibility they require to manage all of their needs, take care of their families, and meet their work demands too," noted Ms. Milam.
Chris Renzulli, Sales Manager for ICMS, noted, "In an environment where healthcare costs are ever-changing, it's beneficial to bring in a solution that's additive and can be immediately impactful." Mr. Renzulli continued, "The Care.com program is a cost-effective way for our small to mid-sized clients to offer dependent care support and we're excited to be able share this offering with them."
"Longfellow Benefits has always been known for presenting innovative benefits solutions; Care.com is no exception," said Kevin Gazda, SVP, Group Benefit Operations for the company. "Our clients have already begun to show significant interest in Care.com as they look for affordable ways to support their employees with child care, senior care, pet care and housekeeping services."
