Capital BlueCross plays prominent role in the 2013 Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services national webinar
Program promotes the innovative, effective, and dynamic best practices currently being performed by Medicare plans
HARRISBURG, Pa., June 24, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Capital BlueCross is serving as a key participant in the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) national "2013 Star Ratings Best Practices Webinar" taking place June 25 in Baltimore, Md. The program focuses on sharing strategies and programs that companies are implementing to help provide the highest quality service to their Medicare members. Capital BlueCross will participate in the webinar alongside national carriers and hospital systems as a model for the delivery of high quality service to its members.
In its presentation, "Developing Innovative Approaches to Member Outreach and Education," Capital BlueCross will share its success in reaching and caring for Medicare members through its recently-opened health and wellness retail store called Capital Blue. The first-of-its-kind nationally, Capital Blue is focused on customer choice and healthy living, and is designed to provide one-stop shopping for customers to explore insurance options and discover fun ways to engage in good health. It is located in the Lehigh Valley, about 90 miles outside of New York City.
During the "Creating a Culture of Quality in Your Organization" presentation, Capital BlueCross will discuss its role as a member-focused health and medical value leader, and how it drives innovation throughout the health care system, resulting in better care and improved health outcomes for all of its customers.
