WEST PALM BEACH, Fla., Oct. 15, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- A crowd of more than 350 art enthusiasts attended the kick-off party for CANVAS, the outdoor museum show coming to Downtown West Palm Beach on November 8 -22. Guests enjoyed drinks courtesy of Tito's Handmade Vodka and Perrier® Sparkling Natural Mineral Water, a cocktail creation experience with Bombay Sapphire, hors d'oeuvres from NYY Steak, a silent auction and a preview from some of the renowned artists participating in the inaugural art event. The party took place October 10 at the Graffiti Garden at 501 Fern Street, proceeds will benefit CANVAS Art Charities, a non-profit organization dedicated to funding visual arts to enrich public spaces and foster social and economic outcomes.
Jonathan Duerr was the evening's emcee and kept the energy upbeat throughout the night. Guests mixed and mingled with CANVAS artists including Cheryl Maeder, Jose Bedia, Sean Yoro and Zeus. Other notable guests included Elin Nordegren, Jeff Koons, Brian and Sarah Vickers, Wyatt Koch, Greg Norman Jr., Gil de Ferran and Matthieu Rosinsky.
In addition to work by CANVAS artists, guests were visually wowed by roaming lampshade models provided by the Seminole Casino Coconut Creek and a Lamborghini Huracán from Palm Beach Lamborghini parked in front of the venue.
