BOCA RATON, Fla., Dec. 1, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Cancer Treatment Centers of America® (CTCA) is proud to announce the appointment of Dr. Robert (Rob) Hauser as the new vice president of clinical analytics at CTCA® Medicine & Science effective today. Dr. Hauser will work closely with the executive leadership teams of Medicine & Science, Information Services and the regional medical centers on the company's further development and implementation of an enterprise-wide clinical analytics strategy and program.

Dr. Hauser will direct the development of a robust analytics program to support enhancements in quality of care, clinical research and clinical innovation. In this role, he will assess the organization's clinical analytic and data needs, design strategy and tactics to meet those needs, and lead implementation of analytic and reporting strategies.

Dr. Hauser most recently served as senior director of the American Society of Clinical Oncology's (ASCO) Quality and Guidelines Department where he managed the development of ASCO's groundbreaking CancerLinQ project. Previously, he was the director of operations and informatics at the International Oncology Network. Additionally, Dr. Hauser also served as vice president and chief operating officer of Geriatric Oncology Consortium, Inc.
Dr. Hauser holds a doctor of pharmacy from The University of Texas at Austin/The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, and a doctorate in pharmacy practice and administration from The University of Texas at Austin.
