NEW YORK, May 25, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Ann Lundberg has been appointed to the position of EVP, CafeMom, the premier website for moms, it was announced today by Michael Sanchez, CEO of the company.

Lundberg will be responsible for growing revenues for CafeMom. In her role, she will work closely with America's best brands and agencies as they seek to connect with moms in a rapidly changing, digital environment. She will lead the already strong CafeMom sales team, oversee the Company's sales strategy and development efforts, and work to elevate CafeMom's profile. A passionate mom of three kids, Lundberg will participate in the Company's efforts to make the site experience for moms even more valuable and will serve as a lead "spokesmom" for the Company. As a member of senior management, Lundberg will play a critical role in the next phase of CafeMom's growth and development.

Lundberg will be joining CafeMom from Yahoo!, where she served as Executive Director of New York Field Sales, leading more than 30 salespeople resulting in hundreds of millions of dollars in annual revenue. In her role, she led Consumer Packaged Goods, Retail, Travel and Entertainment teams, and also oversaw Yahoo!'s relationships at MediaVest, Mindshare, MEC and Digitas. She started her career at Yahoo! working with Consumer Packaged Goods accounts including P&G. Before coming to Yahoo!, Ann had a 15-year career in the magazine business, most recently at Conde Nast in a variety of management roles. Before Conde Nast, Ann was at Time Inc. as Publisher of BabyTalk.
