About Grassroots Mobile Tour
Bush Brothers & Company will kick off regional grassroots efforts in May 2010 to bring Bush's Beans to Hispanic moms and their families where they live, work, and play. The U.S. tour will travel around two regions: West Coast and Southwest/East markets.
The Bush's mobile tours will spend several weeks in more than 10 cities sampling delicious, traditional bean recipes and engaging Hispanic families in fun events with chances to win children's soccer gear, cooking tools, Bush's Beans coupons and other special giveaways and activities for families.
Also, in celebration of the upcoming soccer World Cup and with the soccer enthusiasm that this sports event generates among U.S. Hispanics, Bush's Beans has partnered with Major League Soccer teams Chivas USA in Los Angeles and Chicago Fire in Chicago. Special player appearances will be scheduled for Los Angeles and Chicago during the 2010 mobile tour, where Chivas and Chicago Fire players will greet event participants and share their favorite family mealtime stories with fans.
West Coast Region Stops
Launching May 2, 2010 in Los Angeles, families will receive an opportunity to experience the Bush's Beans Nuestra Cocina mobile tour and meet bean experts and tour managers, Sandy and Julie. Hispanic communities in Las Vegas, Los Angeles, San Diego and Santa Barbara can also experience the Bush's tour at some of the West Coast's most anticipated community events, including Cinco de Mayo and Fiestas Patrias celebrations at Whittier Narrows in Los Angeles.
Additionally, Bush's Beans has partnered with Chivas USA, sponsoring several events including Chivas USA's Futbolito, a program dedicated to promote soccer and fitness among Hispanic children. Chivas USA players in Los Angeles will interact with children and families and share their favorite memories of growing up with traditional meals, including beans.
Southwest/East Coast Region Stops
The Southwest Nuestra Casa mobile tour will be making stops in Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, Raleigh and San Antonio. Tour managers George and Vanessa, will bring Bush's Beans traditions to life at neighborhood parks and local events from May through October 2010. Chicago Fire's soccer players will also participate in Chicagoland tour stops, giving the community an opportunity to meet and greet their favorite players.
Also, as part of the MLS Futbolito sponsorship in the Chicagoland area, families that attend the tournaments will have the opportunity to receive Bush's Beans items. In addition, Bush's Beans is the proud Title Sponsor of the Chicago Fire Team Cookbook: "Fire in the Kitchen." The book will showcase recipes from the team's favorite meals, some of which include delicious Bush's Beans as part of the ingredients.
