Bridgeway Announces Major Enhancements to Its Legal Enterprise Management Suite
Stronger Data Security and Compliance, International Character Support and Across the Board Usability Enhancements Enable Organizations to Meet Challenges of Global Litigation Management
HOUSTON, Sept. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Bridgeway Software, the leading provider of legal enterprise management solutions, which includes eDiscovery, matter management, litigation management, and corporate governance, has released the latest version of its industry-leading Legal Enterprise Management Suite to address the increasingly global nature of today's legal environment while reducing risk and meeting stricter compliance requirements.
As globalization presents corporations with new growth opportunities, it also brings a dramatic increase in the need to maintain and track a much greater amount of data and activity related to potential litigation beyond simply adding eDiscovery capabilities. With this in mind, Bridgeway has enhanced eCounsel, a complete matter management solution, to support single-byte international character encoding as one of its core feature enhancements. Now, Bridgeway customers can conduct a broader, more complete search to include international characters as they deal with legal processes emanating from a more diverse, global business environment.
Bridgeway has also augmented its corporate compliance component for corporate secretaries, Secretariat, by enhancing SuperViewer for stronger data publication and protection. SuperViewer provides an interface offering various departments instant and secure access to current entity and personnel information. SuperViewer now allows the administrator to exclude or include personal information, creating a more secure legal enterprise management process that allows Bridgeway customers to address the growing compliance and security demands to ensure confidential data is kept private.
"Bridgeway's Legal Enterprise Management Suite seamlessly integrates all of the legal applications needed to securely and cost-effectively manage any legal process a global enterprise may encounter. These enhancements, which address our customers top and most universal requests, reflect the increasingly complex and global nature of enterprise litigation management," said Keith Okano, president of Bridgeway Software. "Customer feedback is critical to product development at Bridgeway and input from our customers has allowed us to update the Legal Enterprise Management Suite to meet their requirements and stay ahead of future needs."
In addition to supporting international character coding and SuperViewer's refinements, Bridgeway has refreshed the Legal Enterprise Management Suite to include several changes that enhance functionality throughout the solution. Legal administrators can now more easily export search results utilizing Microsoft Excel in order to simplify the management of the litigation process. The suite also offers improved bookmark navigation and the ability to edit and rename saved public searches to quickly access priority data.
For the eBilling portion of the suite, Bridgeway has updated Smart Invoice with several security enhancements and functionality. For example, when approving invoices using the Approver E-Mail Notification task, users will face even stricter guidelines to restrict access and provide legal departments better control to protect key data. With this release, Bridgeway's Legal Enterprise Management suite also includes several upgrades on the back-end to support better integration with a wide range of operating systems and applications including Microsoft (MS) Windows 7, MS 2008 Server, MS SQL Server 2008, Internet Explorer 8.x and Microsoft Word 2007.
Developed in collaboration with many of Bridgeway's clients, the Legal Enterprise Management Suite offers capabilities to handle the next evolution of legal enterprise management by optimizing productivity and reducing risk. It utilizes Bridgeway's unique technology approach by including eCounsel and Secretariat and integrating with its electronic invoicing systems, Smart Invoice and the eDiscovery suite; thereby creating a single legal department information source.
