Brickell Motors Salutes Military Heroes

MIAMI, June 1, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Brickell Motors is proud to be serving as an official sponsor of this year's Salute to Heroes event, honoring high school seniors who have joined the military.

The private event will take place Saturday, June 2, 2012, at Jungle Island and include a mass swearing-in of more than 200 military enlistees expected to be in attendance. Vice Admiral Joseph Kernan, the Deputy Commander of SOUTHCOM, will lead the seniors in taking the oath of enlistment amongst their fellow classmates, family and members of the community.

Brickell Motors has also been selected to present the General Colin Powell trophy, awarded to a Miami Dade educator who has most promoted military careers.
