ALEXANDRIA, Va., Jan. 5, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- SOCAP International, the Society of Consumer Affairs Professionals in Business, today announced its selection of Brian Costanzo as its new President and CEO. Formerly Senior Vice President of Business Development at the Entrepreneurs' Organization, Costanzo will lead SOCAP drawing on his extensive background in hospitality, customer engagement and non-profit leadership.

A business strategist with a proven record of association member growth and retention, Costanzo will work with the SOCAP Board to set the overall strategic direction for the organization. He will also be responsible for the management of the national headquarters and professional staff.

Prior to joining the Entrepreneurs' Organization in 2005, Costanzo held a number of positions with leading hospitality companies, including assignments with Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, Starwood Hotels and Resorts, the Hotel Group, and the Signature Hospitality Group. He also owned and operated Vision Hospitality, a San Francisco-based meeting and event planning, staffing and training firm.
