Breitling Oil and Gas Announces Spud of Breitling-Wild Rose #1 in Carter County, OK

IRVING, Texas, Nov. 2, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Breitling Oil and Gas Corporation, an independent exploration and production company based in Irving, Texas, announced that it has spud the Breitling-Wild Rose #1 on October 21, 2012 in Carter County, Oklahoma. The Breitling-Wild Rose #1 is the first vertical Viola exploratory well in a possible 4 well prospect on Breitling's leased acreage.

The Breitling-Wild Rose #1 is a 11,500-foot test well targeting the Viola Limestone 11,000 feet. Secondary objectives include the Verdigris Woodford, Hunton,  Deese and Sycamore formations.

Management anticipates the well will reach total depth in about 26 days. Well completion and testing should begin during the first week of December.
