BrandStar's New Television Series Live Life Forward Debuts, Showcases Youth Making a Difference in their Communities
Series Hosted by Actor and Humanitarian Adrian Paul of Highlander: The Series
DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla., March 28, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- In the premiere episode of Live Life Forward, which originally aired Tuesday, March 21 and will re-air Tuesday, March 28 at 7:30 a.m. (ET/PT) on Lifetime®, young change-makers involved in campaigns like Allstate's #THEYSAY Project, will be featured. The episode also will profile companies and nonprofit organizations who inspire youth to address pressing societal issues. Adrian Paul, who founded The Peace Fund in 1997 to bring corporate America and celebrities together to help children in need, is excited about hosting the new series.
"Live Life Forward will highlight the organizations that are making a difference, so our children can be more effective, empathetic members of our communities," Paul said.
Allstate's #THEYSAY Project Gives Youth a Voice for Change
Allstate's #THEYSAY Project dispels negative youth stereotypes by showing how young people are the ultimate game changers for good – no matter what "they say." The campaign encourages youth to show how their generation are problem solvers – not problems to be solved – by sharing their positive stories via social media using #theysay.
The debut episode of Live Life Forward shares the stories of three youths making a difference in their communities and around the world. Two Allstate #THEYSAY Project youth stories will be included in each Live Life Forward show.
Allstate Supports WE Charity in Empowering Youth to Volunteer to Make Local and Global Communities Better
Join celebrity host Adrian Paul in a thought-provoking conversation with WE Day Co-Founder Craig Kielburger and Allstate Chairman and CEO Tom Wilson about the need to empower youth to become positive change agents in their communities.
The Allstate Foundation is one of WE Charity's largest U.S. partners, helping to bring WE Day events to tens of thousands of youths across the U.S. It also supports the yearlong WE Schools service-learning program available for free to students throughout the U.S., and partnered with WE to create the WE Volunteer Now campaign, which provides youth with the tools to plan and lead volunteer projects.
