Brand Affinity Technologies Teams Up With the University of Southern California as Fan Engagement Partner for Trojan Football Games
Brand Affinity's FanPhotos Services to Enhance the Fan Experience at 2013 Football Games
IRVINE, Calif., Sept. 5, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Brand Affinity Technologies, Inc. ("Brand Affinity"), the expert in engaging, activating, and monetizing fans, today announced an exclusive fan photo partnership with the University of Southern California (USC), for its 2013 college football games at the iconic Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. USC is the latest to join the ranks of over a dozen marquee NCAA athletic institutions that now use Brand Affinity's fan activation services.
Beginning this Saturday, September 7, Brand Affinity's FanPhotos activation platform will be deployed at each home game to provide a truly authentic experience that captures the excitement, pageantry, and tradition of USC Football. Roving professional photographers will interact with the crowd before, during and after the game to capture memorable moments with family and friends. Fans will then be able to view their photos online, enhance with customizable USC themes and logos, and then place orders so that they can relive the excitement long after the fourth quarter.
Adding to the interactive fan experience, Brand Affinity will also be creating a giant, multibillion-pixel crowd photograph, called a Fanoramic, taken at a select game this season. Once the Fanoramic is posted online, users can zoom into the crowd photo to find themselves and their friends. They can then share "a moment in time" on Facebook or email, through the "tagging" feature, or fans can choose to add their own personal photos and videos, taken at the game.
"USC football fans are some of the most passionate in the country," said DeSha' Runnels, Director of Corporate Relations, USC Sports Properties. "We are thrilled to partner with Brand Affinity Technologies to deliver a new game day experience and help fans further showcase their Trojan Pride."
"Based in Southern California, we know firsthand how important Trojan football is to this community," said Ryan Steelberg, CEO of Brand Affinity Technologies. "By teaming up with USC, we are excited to help capture and extend the Trojan football experience through the use of our FanPhoto, Fanoramic, and our expanded suite of fan engagement solutions."
Top entertainment and sports brands use Brand Affinity's FanPhotos fan activation services to engage customers, including teams from Major League Baseball, National Basketball Association and National Hockey League, National Football League, and many more.

About USC Athletics
USC has one of the nation's most successful athletic programs. Trojan teams have won 120 national championships (95 men's, including a national-best 82 NCAA titles, and 25 women's), more than all but 2 other schools. USC's men athletes have won more individual NCAA titles (309) than any other school (the Women of Troy have another 70 individual NCAA crowns). Troy has more Olympians, medalists and gold medalists than any school: since 1904, 419 Trojans have competed in the Games, winning 135 gold medals (with at least 1 gold in every summer Olympics from 1912), 87 silver and 64 bronze. Four Trojans have won the prestigious Sullivan Award as America's top amateur athlete: diver Sammy Lee (1953), shot putter Parry O'Brien (1959) and swimmers John Naber (1977) and Janet Evans (1989). Two Women of Troy have won the Honda-Broderick Cup as the top collegiate woman athlete of the year: Cheryl Miller (1983-84) and Angela Williams (2001-02). Trojan women have won 15 Honda Awards, as their sport's top female athlete. USC student-athletes have received 52 NCAA Postgraduate Scholarships (in the Top 10 among all schools) and Troy has had 31 first team Academic All-Americans and 4 athletes who were Rhodes Scholars. USC fields 21 intercollegiate teams, 9 men's (football, basketball, baseball, track and field, swimming and diving, tennis, golf, water polo, volleyball) and 12 women's (basketball, track and field, swimming and diving, tennis, golf, water polo, volleyball, rowing, cross country, lacrosse, sand volleyball).
