Brand Affinity Technologies Announces Exclusive AEG Events Partnership
Entertainment powerhouse joins roster of top sports and entertainment brands using Brand Affinity's FanPhotos fan activation services to engage customers
IRVINE, Calif., April 25, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Brand Affinity Technologies, Inc. ("Brand Affinity"), the expert in engaging, activating, and monetizing fans, today announced an exclusive events partnership with leading sports and entertainment company, AEG. Under the terms of the agreement, AEG will be exclusively leveraging Brand Affinity Technologies' FanPhotos fan activation services at 10 select AEG-affiliated venues, including the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, Best Buy Theater in Times Square, and The Warfield in San Francisco, as well as multiple AEG-produced festivals, including the upcoming Stagecoach – California's Country Music Festival.
"Concerts and music festivals are among the most memorable events people come together to experience and we are pleased to now provide the ability for fans to take these moments home with them," said Shervin, Mirhashemi, President, AEG Global Partnerships. "Brand Affinity Technologies' 'FanPhotos' is clearly the leader in the fan photography business and we are pleased that our venues, our festivals, our events, and our fans will all benefit from this partnership."
AEG will begin using Brand Affinity Technologies FanPhotos fan activation services at Stagecoach – California's Country Music Festival to be held April 26 – 28, 2013 at the Empire Polo Fields in Indio, Calif. At Stagecoach, Brand Affinity will have a roving photographer who will distribute branded photo redemption cards to fans. There will also be an onsite photo station where fans can have their photos taken against an authentic western theme backdrop complete with props. Attendees will also have the option to purchase the photos on site or have them mailed to their home, or they can purchase a download to share at the event via social media. Brand Affinity will offer similar services at various upcoming AEG-promoted events and venues as well.
Brand Affinity's FanPhotos services provide entertainment properties unparalleled access to fans attending an event. FanPhotos photographers directly engage fans during events to capture photos and offer a unique one-to-one touch point as they distribute branded photo redemption cards. The services enable brands and sponsors to create connections and build brand loyalty with their target audience. By creating emotional connections to people via photos at live events, brands and sponsors are able to extend their reach even after the event is over. FanPhotos also enables offline and online brand engagement, including active sharing via social media.
"This partnership with AEG further validates the value of our interactive fan activation services," said Carlton Osborne, GM of FanPhotos and VP of Business Development at Brand Affinity Technologies. "By harnessing and leveraging the passion and dedication of fans through photos and digital media, brands and sponsors are able to create a 'win-win' for their companies and fans alike. We're thrilled to be working with AEG and look forward to implementing our proven services to help them serve and monetize their customers well beyond the actual events."
Top entertainment and sports brands use Brand Affinity's FanPhotos fan activation services to engage customers, including teams from the Major League Baseball, National Basketball Association and National Hockey League, in addition to many more.
