In 2016 PNCU installed 3 LG CNS LTA-350 recyclers from BranchServ in 2 branches with the goal of increasing branch efficiencies without sacrificing the member experience. According to Jim Kelly, CEO, "All credit union decisions revolve around optimizing member relationships. This project was identified as a critical opportunity for us to ensure the future success of the institution and better meet the needs of our members."
One year later, PNCU's recycling results are being measured against key objectives, with a focus on functionality/ efficiencies, security, reliability/service and the impact on member relationships. From a functional perspective, there has been considerable overall cash management time savings for the institution. But the impact on member relationships has really resonated with Melinda White, Branch Manager for the Main Office, who stated, "This has really allowed us to change the conversation. Due to the success with current installations, the credit union is in the process of placing recyclers at a renovated branch, and 5 other offices are slated for adoption. Ultimately most PNCU branches are expected to benefit from recycler technology from LG and support from BranchServ.
