LAS VEGAS, Nov. 16, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Boyd Gaming Corporation (NYSE: BYD) today announced that the Kansas Racing and Gaming Commission has approved the Company's proposed acquisition of Peninsula Gaming, LLC.

Boyd Gaming has now received all required regulatory approvals required to proceed with the acquisition. The transaction is expected to close on November 20, 2012.
