The Powerhouse distinction is a new award for 2012. It recognizes the top five fastest growing companies. To qualify, a company must have more than $50 million in revenue for 2011 and at least 100-percent growth. Integration Partners easily met both criteria. The company reported $73.5 million in sales for 2011. In 2010, the firm reported $46.5 million. In 2008, its reported sales were $26 million. The company intends to maintain its current rate of growth and is aiming to surpass $100 million in annual sales within two years. "We have a good thing going," adds Nahabedian. "These awards reinforce our belief that we can achieve these ambitious goals."
The Boston Business Journal has been awarding companies with the Pacesetter award for some time. Integration Partners earned that distinction as well. A Pacesetter is a company that exhibits strong growth despite a very rough economy. "Our team is full of talented people," says co-founder Bart Graf. "Their hard work and dedication have helped us get where we are today. We never expected to grow at this kind of pace, but we are absolutely thrilled." The firm easily met the criteria to receive a Pacesetter Elite award from the BBJ, and the Powerhouse recognition was a pleasant surprise.
For the third year in a row, Integration Partners also earned recognition for being one of the Best Places to Work. As the name of this award suggests, it is given to companies that have high levels of workplace satisfaction. Since its inception, Integration Partners has had a very low employee turnover rate, which is a sure sign of employee satisfaction. "Integration Partners seeks out people who have the drive, skill and talent that are needed to get ahead," says one employee. "They go the extra mile to ensure that employees are challenged and treated well."
The network engineering firm has no plans to slow down anytime soon. The awards come in the midst of ambitious plans to surpass the $100-million mark within two years. "We are closing in on that goal already," says Graf. "We were confident about achieving it, and these awards have reminded us that we are on the right track." The firm is focusing on their CERTAINTY managed services which has been experiencing rapid growth. It seems clear that the company's success will remain apace for the foreseeable future.
