MARATHON, Fla., March 19, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Boardroom Events announced today that the Midmarket CMO Forum has reached three key milestones for its inaugural forum, slated for July 13-15, 2015, in Orlando, FL: the launch of a call for speakers, new additions to its Forum Advisory Board, and the launch of Forum Partner Demand Metric's first-ever survey of CMO spend on technology.
The call for speakers for this year's Midmarket CMO Forum coincides with the launch of BEx, the Boardroom Events Exchange. Inspired by the interactive and engaging format pioneered by TED Talks, BEx will initially provide a platform for sharing insights through presentations at the Midmarket CMO Forum, with additional community-building programs to be announced later in 2015.
The initial lineup of speakers already includes 8x8, Inc. Vice President of Marketing Debbie Jo Severin, who will tackle reaching customers with effective marketing technology in her BEx-style session. Severin's session, along with all other presentations selected for the forum, will be powered by Prezi, the presentation technology company and a key sponsor of the Midmarket CMO Forum.
In addition, Boardroom Events has added key marketing leaders to the Advisory Board for the forum, including: Datavail CMO Robin Caputo, Marketing 8x8 Vice President of Marketing Debbie Jo Severin, ATS Vice President and CMO Jeff Kosiorek, and VHA Vice President of Marketing and Communications Jeff Mikula.
Following on the heels of announcing research firm Demand Metric as a strategic forum partner, Boardroom Events has launched its first-ever survey of IT spending trends among CMOs. Fielded by Demand Metric, the survey's results will be unveiled at the Midmarket CMO Forum in July, giving attendees exclusive first-look access to the trends and insights shaping their technology purchasing decisions.
"Achieving key milestones for the Midmarket CMO Forum is a strong indication that this concept—a 1:1 discussion forum and networking opportunity between CMOs, their peers, and solution providers—is the object of pent-up demand among marketing leaders and technology vendors," said Boardroom Events CEO Charles Badoian. "We are excited to have so many terrific Advisory Board members, partners, and sponsors on board as we look forward to a highly successful forum in July."
