Blockchain Studio Unveils Roadmap to Decentralized Economy

NEW YORK, March 29, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- SingularDTV unveiled today its three phase approach to building a decentralized entertainment economy on the Ethereum blockchain. 

In an article entitled, "SingularDTV: Building a Decentralized Entertainment Economy", Zach LeBeau stated his primary responsibility as the company's CEO, "is to make sure we are developing along a decentralized development ladder that does not see people as targets for profit, but instead sees them as recipients of empowerment through our ecosystem of decentralized applications, applications like our rights management gateway and decentralized distribution portal." 

"Phase 1" is outlined as the formation of the CODE structure and the launch of SingularDTV's tokenized ecosystem, two events that took place in 2016.  The CODE structure (Centrally Organized Distributed Entity) was finalized in May of 2016 and served as the foundation for the development of SingularDTV's economic model.  The CO, Centrally Organized portion of the CODE, is comprised of legacy business entities headquartered in Switzerland.  The DE, Distributed Entity, is comprised of the tokenized ecosystem of SNGLS tokens that launched on Oct. 2, 2016.  The purpose of the CODE structure is to create a bridge between the legacy world that ushers ideas and assets onto the decentralized paradigm of Ethereum.

"Phase 2" is putting the CODE structure to the test when SingularDTV's platform launches applications in Q2 and Q4 of this year.  Called the "Consumption Rewards" model, phase two rewards users based on how much content is consumed and created on the SingularDTV platform.  SingularDTV CFO, Arie Levy Cohen comments, "Consumption rewards are part of SingularDTV's perfected economic model. SingularDTV is a decentralized ecosystem that rewards human action, in this case artists and creatives, when they participate, share and create. This participation, viewing, sharing, producing, creating, or designing leads to consumption of SNGLS tokens and it is this consumption activity that we are keen to reward.  To that end we are working with various legal teams and other partners to perfect the final design."

SingularDTV's consumption rewards model is intended to incentive usage and growth of its platform, ultimately leading to a free and decentralized entertainment economy described as "Phase 3."
