Also announced was the expansion of eligibility for completion of the ASA HSIG Program. On January 28, 2014, the executive committee of the ASA international Board of Governors approved an updated policy, whereby all those completing the ASA HSIG Program are now eligible to receive the "Certificate of Completion," including those who do not yet have a professional designation from ASA. This Certificate of Completion of the ASA HSIG Program will be awarded to individuals who complete the full Program (including all four webinar course sessions and the two-day in-person course session) and pass an hour examination on course content within a three year time period.
