Bliss Network Group Launches LA Yoga and Find Bliss Across All Major Platforms, Powered By MAZ
NEW YORK, Sept. 18, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- MAZ announced that they have partnered with the Bliss Network Lifestyle Media Group to create apps for both LA Yoga and Find Bliss Magazines across all mobile and tablet devices. The MAZ publishing platform currently powers nearly 1,000 apps for Apple, Android, Amazon, and HTML5.
LA Yoga connects thousands of yoga students, teachers, studio owners, and balance-seekers with information on how to integrate yoga in the modern world. They profile teachers, feature events, showcase people changing communities, share vegetarian recipes, include Ayurvedic and health knowledge, and go backstage with musicians, filmmakers, and other artists who incorporate yoga and healing practices in their lives.
Find Bliss educates, informs, and inspires readers with four editorial cornerstones of food, home, spa, and practice. They profile spas and interview famous chefs, showcase inspirational homes and gardens, review spa treatments, feature recipes, and offer insight on practices including how to manage career, relationships, and money.
The partnership with MAZ's publishing platform will enhance the digital experience for users with its user-friendly design, interactive functionalities, and best in class in-app share, save, and discover tools via the social feature, Stream.
Stream creates a live, crowd-sourced feed of new LA Yoga and Find Bliss content as curated by the community. Stream allows readers to participate in a localized social network right inside the app by "cutting out" anything they see on their screens with their fingers to save or share via social media. This feature will complement Bliss Network Group's goal to create a community based around health and wellness.
"We have seen an increase in digital magazine readership over the past few years," says CEO – Publisher Douglas Corbett. "What we now offer our readers through the MAZ app delivery system is more of a three dimensional experience of our content and I believe we will see a dramatic increase in our circulation and engagement as a result."
"This is a fantastic example of a publisher using their app as a 'hub', which unites their print, web, and social channels. At MAZ, we feel apps present a greater opportunity for engagement, which far transcends a monthly magazine schedule," says Mike Ram, Business Development Manager at MAZ. "LA Yoga app users may look through the magazine on Monday, read a web exclusive interview Wednesday, and watch an instructional Yoga video on Saturday, all through the same app."
Download LA Yoga and Find Bliss on Apple App Store, Google Play, and Amazon Kindle.
