BioMed Realty Earns Upgraded Investment Grade Corporate Credit Rating From Moody's Investors Service
Rating Improves to Baa2 with Stable Outlook
SAN DIEGO, April 20, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- BioMed Realty Trust, Inc. (NYSE: BMR) today announced that its investment grade corporate credit rating from Moody's Investors Service (Moody's) has been upgraded to Baa2 from Baa3. BioMed Realty was the first real estate investment trust dedicated to the life science industry to receive investment grade corporate credit ratings from Moody's and Standard & Poor's Ratings Services in April 2010. The company received an upgrade to its corporate credit rating from S&P to BBB in April 2014.
