Biltmore Announces Biltmore Inspirations, New Direct Selling Party Planning Business
Consultants will offer exclusive Biltmore products through in home parties
ASHEVILLE, N.C., Sept. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- The Biltmore Company, in Asheville, N.C., is excited to announce Biltmore Inspirations, its first introduction into the direct selling industry where consultants will offer Biltmore products in a home party environment. The launch of Biltmore Inspirations will focus on food and tabletop items, which relate to the company's legacy of hospitality and entertaining. Products will blend chef-inspired foods with everyday practicality, making it easy for today's consumers to gather friends and family around the table.
"A unique line of products is being developed specifically for Biltmore Inspirations," explained Tim Rosebrock, vice president and general manager of Biltmore's licensing division, "based on the expectations and interests of our guests and enthusiasts who enjoy Biltmore offerings."
"The products will only be available through a Biltmore Inspirations consultant," continued Rosebrock, adding that products won't be sold on the estate or anywhere else. "All products will be directly tied to the Biltmore experience, as well, and will reflect the quality and craftsmanship that guests expect."
Biltmore's party plan business is uniquely associated with a "destination" property, helping to distinguish Biltmore Inspirations from the large direct sales industry and provide a deep connection for target consumers, on and off-site.
According to the Direct Selling Association, over 15 million people across the United States are pursuing careers in the business. Direct selling generates almost $30 billion in business annually in the U.S. and $114 billion worldwide.
"Biltmore Inspirations is another way for our company to expand based on our brand and our focus on quality, hospitality, entertaining, and community service," said Ann Ashley, senior vice president for Biltmore. "It provides a rich experience to bring new customers into our brand, creates opportunities for our consultants to grow a business, and supports our overarching mission of preserving Biltmore."
Biltmore Inspirations will unveil its product line to consultants in early 2011 with first parties to follow. For more information on Biltmore Inspirations products or how to become a consultant or host a party, visit biltmoreinspirations.com.
