Barclays Hires John Houlihan as Regional Manager for Atlanta
NEW YORK, April 16, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The Wealth and Investment Management division of Barclays is pleased to announce that it has hired John Houlihan as a Director and Regional Manager for its Atlanta office.
Mr. Houlihan is responsible for managing all aspects of the Atlanta office and growing the regional business. He will report to Steve Houston, Managing Director and Head of Sales Management, Americas.

Mr. Houlihan joins Barclays from Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, where he has worked for nearly two decades in wealth management. For the past four years, he held key management roles in the Atlanta region, having moved there in 2008 to oversee several offices. Prior to that, Mr. Houlihan managed a large Morgan Stanley wealth management office in New York City and several in Connecticut. He began his career as a financial advisor at Dean Witter in Melville, New York in 1993, and was promoted to Branch Manager for a new wealth management office four years later. Mr. Houlihan holds a B.S. in Management and Finance from Bentley College.
