ENGLEWOOD, Colo., Feb. 21, 2018 Aytu BioScience, Inc. (NASDAQ: AYTU), a specialty life sciences company focused on global commercialization of novel products in the field of urology, today provided an update on the ongoing launch of Natesto in the U.S. Robust Natesto prescription growth continued through January 2018, with total prescriptions reaching 1,094, their highest level to date and demonstrating 300% growth over the same month last year. Additionally, for the three months ending January 31, 2018 Natesto prescriptions increased 12% over the three-month period ending October 31, 2017.
The Company reports the following prescription and prescriber growth for the one-month and three-month periods ending January 31, 2018:
- Natesto total prescriptions for the month of January were 1,094, the highest monthly total recorded to date. New prescriptions for Natesto for the month of January increased to 758.
- Prescribers of Natesto in the month of January totaled 405, representing a 4% increase over December's prescriber count.
- Natesto total prescriptions were 3,051 for the three-month period ending January 31, 2018, representing a 12% increase over the three-month period ending October 31, 2017.
