AXS TV's 'Countdown To Jazz Fest' Pre-Concert Show Gets Viewers Ready For New Orleans' Premier Festival

AXS TV's coverage of the 2013 Festival was a major success, with over five million households tuning into the over 30 hours of broadcast coverage. This year, the network will air more than 24 hours of coverage from Thursday, May 1 through Sunday, May 4.
Headlining artists already confirmed to take part in AXS TV's 2014 telecast include Phish, Christina Aguilera, Santana, Arcade Fire, Vampire Weekend, Robert Plant and the Sensational Space Shifters, The String Cheese Incident, John Fogerty, The Avett Brothers, Alabama Shakes, Boz Scaggs and John Hiatt. Viewers can tune in early for AXS TV's 2014 wall-to-wall coverage as each day kicks off with a half-hour pre-festival special, "Countdown to Jazz Fest," hosted by entertainment expert Kristen Aldridge. Aldridge will showcase the unparalleled and unique atmosphere of the Festival, and capture the flavor of this world-renowned event. Joining her for AXS TV's live coverage is TV personality Savannah Buffett, who will highlight the nightlife outside of the Jazz Fest grounds and interview artists, as she provides a bird's eye of the Festival's rich and eclectic environment.
Each 'Countdown' show will air daily from 3pE to 3:30pE, followed immediately by live Festival coverage until 11pE.
