AXE® Joins the Inaugural New York Fashion Week: Men's as Official Grooming Partner
ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, N.J., July 13, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, AXE® will join the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) as the Official Grooming Sponsor of the inaugural New York Fashion Week: Men's (NYFW: M). As the American fashion industry prepares for this new menswear forum, AXE will be at the forefront helping to usher in a new generation of creators and tastemakers.
Beginning July 14, fans can visit AXE social channels for exclusive behind-the-scenes access to NYFW: Men's, bringing the best of men's fashion and style to guys everywhere. AXE will support the emerging designer platform throughout the week, a showcase for rising designers to debut their collections to top editors, buyers and influencers. AXE will also provide styling teams for eight established and emerging designers including Billy Reid, Siki Im, Lucio Castro, Thorsun, deTROIT, Ricardo Seco, Engineered for Motion and Gypsy Sport.

The emerging designer platform at NYFW: Men's marks only one of the ways AXE is investing in young talent and comes on the heels of the AXE White Label Collective mentorship program, launched earlier this year. Through a nationwide search for the brightest rising menswear designers, AXE – along with award-winning musician John Legend and American menswear designer Billy Reid and Esquire magazine – selected five designers to receive hands-on mentorship and access to industry resources in order to turn their aspirations into reality during New York Fashion Week in September.
