SAN MATEO, Calif., July 26, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Apttus, the category-defining Quote-to-Cash solution provider, today announced that Forrester, an independent research firm, rates Apttus a leader in The Forrester Wave™: Contract Lifecycle Management, Q3 2016. The report states that "Apttus offers a leading CLM product with buy-side and sell-side products," and further notes that Apttus' "product is very strong across all stages of the CLM life cycle."
Apttus, which developed and leads the Quote-to-Cash industry, was originally founded in 2006 as a Contract Management vendor. We believe this acknowledgement from Forrester can be attributed directly to Apttus' decade-long history of delivering outcome-based solutions to its extensive customer base.
Findings from the report include:
- Apttus is rated a leader for sell-side contracts, receiving a score of 4.38 in the current CLM offering category. This is the highest score of any vendor evaluated, and Apttus is the only vendor with a score greater than 4.00.
- Apttus is rated a leader for all contract types, receiving a score of 4.03 in the current CLM offering category. This is the highest score of any vendor evaluated, and Apttus is the only vendor with a score greater than 4.00.
- In its Wave™ report, Forrester notes that "contract authoring and related products are key differentiators." Forrester further writes, "Vendors that provide easier authoring based on Microsoft Word and integrations with related products stand out from the rest."
- Apttus offers X-Author for Contracts, a patented integration between Word and legal playbooks, business terms, and redlines, so that contract professionals can author contracts in Word while seamlessly interacting with the Apttus system of record.
The Forrester Report also states: "Apttus offers a leading CLM product with buy-side and sell-side products. Apttus was one of the first software vendors to build on Salesforce's Force.com platform, and it gained Salesforce as one of its early clients. Its tight integration with Salesforce's sales force automation, analytics, and Chatter messaging product have made it the top choice for any Salesforce client looking for a CLM product. It added related sell-side modules to its portfolio, including configuration, pricing and quoting (CPQ), revenue management, and eCommerce. But Apttus has moved beyond applications supporting sales within the Salesforce ecosystem, building out buy-side products for procurement and sourcing and replatforming its products to run on the Microsoft Azure platform so it can play in the Microsoft Dynamics ecosystem. Its product is very strong across all stages of the CLM lifecycle."
"The strength of our CLM solution paved the way for our entire industry to thrive, and to this day it is one a success pillar for customers," said Kirk Krappe, CEO at Apttus. "Our innovation has always been driven by needs of the customer. Working with them directly, we've evolved to develop a solution that not only drives contract, billing and incentives processes to the next level, but provides our customers with an agile, strategic advantage in their respective industries."
"Customers choose Apttus because they want to transform their contract process into a foundational piece of their business model.
